problem
Moving into a brand-new apartment building can be stressful, especially when many tenants are moving in at the same time. Tenants must follow move-in rules and schedules, and deal with paperwork, which is usually sent by email, provided in a booklet, or posted on a website. This can create problems if a tenants are too buys, disorganized, or cannot easily access the information, especially during the move itself.
solution
I worked with Landmark Properties to create an engaging webpage for one of their properties, The Standard in Seattle, WI. It presented all the essential move-in information, including a mobile-friendly version that's optimized for easy access and navigation on move-in day. By leveraging fun illustrations, interactive elements, and subtle animations, the page keeps users engaged while exploring the content and makes the experience more memorable.
The concept of a one-pager containing all the essential information tenants need is not new; however, Landmark reimagines it each year with a unique theme. In 2023, the theme was psychedelic funk—designed to be not only visually fun, but also engaging and easily accessible for tenants as they prepared for their move-in date.

As a freelance designer with experience with UI/UX and interactive design, the Landmark team reached out to me for assistance to bring their vision to life since they had limited bandwidth and knowledge about how to approach this type of experience. I worked with their creative team to review and dissect their illustration files so that I could bring those elements into Ceros to make them interactive and add animation, which would make the whole page visually engaging.
Ultimately, the goal was to create a desktop and a mobile version of the experience that would be embedded on their website and sent out via email, so that tenants would have a link to it.
